Dosage of Getex G Cream

• Getex G Cream is a super-high potency topical corticosteroid, so treatment should be limited to 2 consecutive weeks.
• The maximum weekly dose should not exceed 50 gm/week.
• For children, courses should ideally be limited to five days and reviewed weekly.

When should one not use Getex G Cream

• If you are allergic to clobetasol, gentamicin, or similar medicines
• If you have an untreated skin infection or skin thinning problem
• If you have chickenpox, shingles, warts, or any other wounds and skin infections
• If you have acne or an infection on your face, around your mouth, or private parts
• Clobetasol+Gentamicin should not be used in children below 1 year of age and for nappy rash
